My wife and I are doing the 100km again. I was wondering if there were other couples out there who were both doing the 100km together this year as well?
For a bit of fun how about having a Partners Prize of the 100km, similar to the 6ft Track? Add the two individual times together and the lowest net time wins.
What do people think? Or are we the only couple crazy enough to atempt this event together?

Hi Brian - I convinced my nutter fiance to do the 100km with me even though both of us haven't run further than a marathon before! I'm glad to hear that there are other crazy couples out and about doing this event! How did you guys go last year?

My fiance and I are both in the 100km event as well.
Can't wait for our loungeroom to return to normal - at the moment it looks like vandals have trashed the paddy pallin store.

Phew, we thought we were the only ones. I spent the whole time chasing my wife. When we finally met at the Fairmont again she was well and trully full of celebratory anti-freeze (port & drambuie) thanks to the hotel bar.
Her time to beat is 15:30. Mine is 17:18. My goal is to finish on Saturday this time, i.e. before midnight.

Make that 4 crazy couples (probably more lurking out there). We're both first timers at TNF but have done a few 100km distances before and a few 50+km training days in the past few months.

Yeah probably more out there. I registered today and I suspect my other half will also register too and I know another couple who are running together in this event too.

Guys,
This sounds like a majority! Good stuff. You have convinced us to have a partners prize. No idea exactly what it will be this year but there will definitely be HEAPS of glory!!! I am a bit on the spot of how to work out the result but I guess you'd better tell us at registration if you want to be in the running for the partners prize.
Cheers, Tom

There's also probably a few people looking for a partner, maybe we can award a prize to any couples who hook up during the race, that would be really worth a prize!
