Newbie in TNF100, but training with a bunch of guys who did it last year and have a great schedule organised, so that is taking the edge of the newbie nerves !

Wow, great to see a couple of people from the Wollongong area running!! If anyone wants a friend to train with in the New Year then I'd be happy to meet up with some of you

Jealous of all you guys that have your place... im on the waitlist.
Id love to know what "base" fitness you experts / regulars think is enough to embark on this type of challenge.
Ive run a couple of marathons/ halfs and do a few trial runs here and there but this would be a big LEAP FOR ME.
i train (gym/ outdoors) 6 times a week and consider myself pretty fit but need to be realistic as to weather i can do this.
Thoughts/ comments apprecaited.
thanks

In my own opinion, i'd say if you can run 42km, then you can do 100km. The remaining 58km is a mind battle.
Good luck
