first post

I have a garmin 305. For the most part i don't have any major gripes other than the fact that I only get 10 hours of battery life. My last race was a 12 hour run so guess who didn't have a way to recharge. To be honest, I didn't think there was a way to recharge on the run. I just read a post on this forum dealing with that exact issue.
I have been thinking latley that I might want to upgrade. Why? can't really give a concrete answer to that. I guess i'm looking for something a little smaller, main reason longer battery life. I don't use a heart rate monitor but do like the elevation, pace, distance...pretty much everything else it offers.

If you were to suggest another watch Garmin or otherwise which would it be and why?

Hi Adam ... I can't answer your question, but I would suggest you post it on the Unofficial Aust NF facebook page http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Unofficial-Australian-North-Face-100/183848461633391  as there are quite a few 'NorthFacers' logged into that site regularly and you might get some response Smiley

cheers,
Jaci.
