Congratulations to all who ran the race over the weekend! Heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the organisers, all volunteers and crew. Thank you to all our support crew (family, friends) who dedicatedly stayed up all night alongside us, so they could tend to each of our every need or even just to catch a glimpse of us after waiting in the cold for hours.

Great camaraderie out there on the course and thank you to all runners for taking care of each other. It was an honour to be able to meet each and every single one of you and to be out there with you all. Thank you for making my race a great one - an experience I will not forget for a long time to come yet!

Thank you, everyone!!  Smiley

Me too, very well organised from a runners perspective and the staged starts seemed to reduce a lot of the congestion compared to last year. Loved the jazz band although the decision to continue running or lay back in the sun and take in all that ambience was harder than leg 5. Had to stop and have a yarn with the Traditional owners up on Iron Pot playing the rhythm sticks to welcome us to their country. Fantastic.
The checkpoints were easy to navigate and resupply with a big thanks to the first aiders and nutrition attendants, nothing seemed a bother.
To Michael, Jeri and Lachlan, thanks for the company along the way and I wish you all the best in all your endeavours.
Tom and the AROC Team....Awesome effort guys, thank you.

I completely agree. The spirit and support from other competitors was outstanding. Thanks to all the CP staff especially those at CP 5 who really looked after me and gave me that final push I needed for the last leg. Also thanks to Steve who was with me on the long hill to CP 5, you helped keep me going mate. A truly special experience!

What an awesome event.  Well organised, with an incredible amount of extra ordinary people who gave up their time to keep the competitors fuelled up at every check point.  Thank you to everyone who chipped in to make this event the huge success it was.

After battling some mental demons and the urge to "pull the pin" prior to CP3, I found renewed energy and strength upon seeing my family and finished what was an amazing event. The most brutal terrain i've ever seen and like nothing i have trained on before (Perth is way too flat!). At times i found myself saying, "you wont be doing this again, so get on with it!". Well all i can say is that on Sunday night, laying in bed with knees that felt like they had been smashed with hammers and a body that had been hit by a truck, i found myself thinking of where i could make up time, run quicker and overall improve on my run!! It was truly sick, but has been all i can think about since! I'll definitely be back... i'm hooked!!!

I had never even run a 1/2 marathon prior to beginning my training for TNF100, but an Ultra just seemed i good place to start! It was truly amazing!! Thanks to all involved!

I wanted to echo the sentiments of all the other bloggers and say that myself and my boyfriend Matt had the BEST time being involved in this race for our first time.
A Huge thank you to the race organisers and staff at the checkpoints (particularly Buzz and co at CP5 who treated everyone like family members) and to the traditional owners who were so uplifting along Iron Pot Ridge.
A special thank you to Richard who we ran with between CP3 and CP4 and his support got me through Nellie’s Glen, and to Kiwi running legend Lisa Tamati, who we had the privilege to run with between CP4 and CP5 and just to spend some time with such an inspirational and humble person that she is lifted us for the rest of the race.
Overall an amazing experience and definitely the highlight of our running careers!
Cant wait for next year...only 363 days to go!
Ciao for now

massive thanks to the organisers you are amazing to organise this event, well done.
if there was anything to change then maybe longer road section at the beginning might get rid of some of the bottle neck (cant believe it took 45 mins to do the first 5k!!)

thanks too to all the wonderful runners I met along the way. There was GI Jane who served in the Navy in HK, Commando Will who ran in Battle Order, HK Chris who jiggled along. And Sleepy Bear, the guy who took catnaps at the side of the road scaring the shit out of me.
