John,
not in your league but I've figured out a rough approximation. I usually do about a 6:45 6 foot and that translated into a 21hr NF100 last year, or roughly 3.1 times the 6 foot time. When I looked at Andrew Lee he did a 3.5hr (ish) 6 foot from memory and a 9.9hr NF100 which was about 2.8 times 6 foot time. So a rough ballpark is 3 times 6 foot time.
This years goal is under 20 so last wave I guess.

That gives me hope Owen! I also did 6ft this year, in just under 6.30, and was hoping to finish in around 24hrs at best. Not sure how the knees will cope with all the stairs in this one, time will tell.
Good luck!

Hi John
My stats may help as I did a 4:57 6ft in 2009 and then followed up with a 14hr 50 ish TNF. I did 6ft with my full TNF pack on though as it was "just a training run"!
So probably around the 15 hour mark for you, but the big factor is weather, lets just wait and see.
If you want to know because you're booking a cab, perhaps allow for 17 hours just in case ;-)

Thanks guys,
Im not planning on setting the world on fire and just want to finish my first one and will be aiming for around the 16-18 hour mark. By all accounts anyone who thinks they are going to conquer the mountains are swiftly put back in place as it demands respect.
Im am super excited about getting out there, zoning out and enjoying the day.
I cant wait to have an epic run in the mountains with my fellow runners.
Awesome!!!
P.S got a bit of support but she has no idea about running so should be interesting if she manages to catch me at ANY checkpoints.
All teh best!!!
