I'm in trail runners from the start. Check points are change gear points and will enjoy new gear if needed at 3,4 or 5... But I wont be in those Cp's for long.

Grant I reckon your right about quick in and out on check points, I dont want to add any more time on to my finish time than necessary
cant wait to get started, this tapering thing is killing me, gonna go out for 8k jog tonight to make sure theres no cobwebs growing!!

From my experience, I needed to spend around 30 mins at the checkpoints as I needed to eat and drink well (at least from cp3, not much in the first 2). As I knew I needed the eating/drinking (and resting) times, the first thing I did was to get changed to non-sweaty clothes (otherwise I'd freeze after 5 mins, as I just reached these cps at night).
