Access to sublime ridge trail
«

Hi All
Interested in training on the latter part of the course this weekend and accessing the sublime ridge trail from the three sisters giant stairway. From what I can see this is possible via the Dardenelles Pass and Federal Pass trails but I cannot see if there is a clear link up with the Sublime Ridge trail.
The race course map indicates there is but I wonder if this is something set up especially for the event?
Any help much appreciated

Hey Warren - Let me know if you get any info on the last sections or how it works out for you. We are looking to do some training on those last legs but not until the end of Feb. Would love to know how it goes! Nik

Hey Warren,
I attempted to do that section last year in training but could NOT find the access point from the supplied map and not even the locals out walking that morning on the Federal Pass could work out where we were supposed to go either.
During the event (bearing in mind it was VERY dark) my memory of this section is that you go as far as the Forest and there is an access point shortly after, but I think it was only made available for the event with signs preventing the general public / non competitors going down through that section. I haven't been back since the event (yet) so couldn't be sure this is still the case. I too would be keen to hear how you get/got on.

Hi guys
Yeah I changed my plans as I couldn't find any reliable map with the connection of those trails. I did the narrowneck section instead.
Be keen for any updates you find, or I might do the trail in reverse and try and find the connection that way and if not retrace my steps back to Wentworth Falls
