Summit Gear will be open late Friday night (until 8pm) for last minute gear - thermal gloves, socks, beanies, cheap overpants, trail running shoes (someone ALWAYS forgets their shoes!).
Free on the night will be the last minute psychological rev up (or psych out depending on your emotional state).
Even if you don't need any gear, feel free to drop in and check out the store.
Weather this week has been cold but clear, with temperatures progressively dropping each night. My dud knee is telling me that its going to stay the same for the rest of the weekend, and its the most accurate weather predictor west of Tim Bailey's fake tan and botoxed grin.
