I thought I could post this notice that I have been using in WA to help raise funds for a friend.I am undertaking the race to assist him.My goal is to reach $20,000 so far I have $15,000.
Whether you donate or not ,please tell your friends ,family to get checked out with any suspcious lumps or bumps.

FUNDRAISING FOR PETER WALKER
Peter Walker was diagnosed with cancer (Burkitt Lymphoma) on Christmas Eve 2009 and is currently undergoing chemotherapy.Peter is 37 years old with a family of three kids and his wife Lindsay. The Walker family have been living here in Perth for the past 2 years after moving here from the UK. Peter and I worked together in Capacity Assurance with Rio Tinto –Rail Operations on improvement projects. Many of you who know Peter will know he is a positive can do individual committed to improvement and making life generally easier for everyone else. He is a master of networking and helping others.
Now it is time for us to support Peter along his journey. As a small gesture I will be running a 100km race in the Blue Mountains in NSW on May 15th/16th to raise funds to support Peter.The total costs of this event will be fully funded by myself (approx $3,500).
The funds raised will be used to support Peter to ensure he can meet financial and educational commitments for his family. This will allow Peter and his wife Lindsay to concentrate on his recovery, 10% of the funds will also go to the Cancer support organisation Western Australia.
