Hi All,

My good friend John O'Regan has convinced me to sign up for next year's 100k. I'm from Ireland but I've actually moved to Sydney to live and work... and run for 2 years! This is my first Ultra but I have run seven marathons over the last three years. My best time is 3:36 in London this year.

I've joined the Sydney Striders running club and I'm hoping to hook up with them for some sessions. Is there anybody here also training for the 100 that would like to go on some long runs with me? Would be useful to train with someone who has a similar target. I'm currently staying in the city centre but I'm looking to rent a place near double bay.

Cheers,
Rob

Hi Rob,

I think we met at the Striders' SFT Lane Cove run a couple of weeks ago.  I am also keen on doing TNF100 and will be looking for people to do long training runs with as well as the Striders' SFT runs.  I live in Bronte, so not too far from you.

Look me up on the internal directory at work and drop me an email if you are still keen!

Guys,

Welcome to TNF100 - I did this fabulous race last year and can't wait for the 2009 event.  I live in Alexandria and run the Coogee / Bondi loop a couple of times a week from either the CBD or from home - takes about 2hrs 20mins.  I would LOVE some company training - I'm currently training for Ironman WA (only 11 more sleeps!) but I will be back into the running mid January.

I hope to get some runs on the course - I am looking at a monthly run in the mountains, possibly on a Friday, if anyone is keen - again, would love the company.  Also, I have done the Sydney Trailwalker 6 times so do a lot of my weekend bush running over the Trailwalker track or on the South Coast, around Gerringong/Kiama - happy to meet up with others wanting company on the long runs.

Hi Guys!

I am always keen for a long run with some new people. I must admit to being a little slack with the training due to illness but I have a marathon in March and then will get some serious mileage under the belt. If you guys are still keen for a run every now and then i am in Bondi so drop me an email.

Cheers

Hi Guys,

I am also keen for some training runs. I live in Mascot. I just fininshed the Melbourne Oxfam so the joints are still a little sore. Should be right in a couple of weeks!

Hi All - I have just signed up for the race too and really feel the benefit of running with others.  However. I am north of the river in the northern beaches/maly area - anyone else up that neck of the woods or who trains up there (even occasionally) fancy getting together for some training?Huh

I can be reached on gregghutchison@gmail.com

All the best

Gregg
