Hi there,
Anyone out there entered in run who lives in southern highlands, Bargo Bowral, etc.  If so, where are you training, and are you part of a group or solo.
Thanks Tina   Smiley

Hi Tina

I'm not from the S Highlands, but know some trails there.  If you haven't yet found them, the Mountain Bike trails in Wingello state forest are AWESOME!  (And I mean for running, as well as mountain biking!).  There are 3 routes, all off road, varying distances and technical levels, all very clearly marked.  I ran the 25km route last weekend and had a ball!  The trail heads are all at the same place, so depending on your level of training you can do one or two of them back to back to get in more kms.  Visit http://www.wildhorizons.com.au/highlands-trails for more info.  Have fun!

Hi Tina,

We are running from Otford to Bundeena and back (about 55kms?) on Monday 27th starting from the carpark at about 7am.  There are 3 of us running TNF100 and a couple of others training for Oxfam Trailwalker.  We will be a group of about 8 (at last count) and you are more than welcome to join us.  We run at a very cruisy pace and just want to get a long one in our legs before May.

Any others welcome also.

Liz

Hi Tina,

I just moved from Robertson (where i was training a lot) to east bowral. Been doing a little around here, though mostly running the 14km from home to work in Mossy.  50km of Wild Endurance last weekend up in the mountains was the nice.  When/how are you heading down to the Mountains?  Might be able to car pool or share costs etc. if you're at all interested.

Cheers
