Hey are any of you guys running Tarawera this weekend???  I'm coming over with my husband (he''s only running the 60!! - soft!) :-)  I just registered for the 100 tonight - early birthday present for myself tomorrow :-)

I was planning on it, but have just been sent to the USA for work so will miss it.
The course is great, the first 40-45k has all the climbing in it - with ~1200m. There's never anything too brutal or nasty though (except for the big downhill near the 40k mark!)

Its a beautiful spot, with some great trails - there's about 3-4k total on a gravel road, and 3k total on sealed road the rest is all track.... have fun.
