Hey loved the run last year can't wait for this year, it was so well organised, great atmosphere, top run. However, there is a clear need for at least a water point somewhere along the big hill just before the last checkpoint. I came across many dehydrated runners, out of water, wet and getting very cold. I do hope you have plans to  address this potentially dangerous situation or at least advise runners to be fully loaded with at least 2 1/2 of water before they commence the 2nd last leg. If it wasn't for the commoradery of fellow runners and volenteers  some runners could have become dangerously ill.

Yeah I ran out of fluids too, however I put this down to poor planning on my part and a minor accident back at CP4. Just as I was approaching CP4 a big gust of wind knocked over the big water container that was pre-positioned there and its tap broke. As I couldn't get any water from the tap I just got the people manning CP4 to the turn the container upside down and empty xx amount into my 2li bladder. In my impatient state to get going I then said "that'll do" without really knowing how much I had refilled. Looking back in hindsight I probably only got about a 1li I reckon. So with this and a bottle of powerade off I went to CP5. Not long after going across Jamison Creek I ran out of fluids which made for a hot and thirsty climb!!!
