This is my first off road event and was wondering if there are any other entrants in the Brisbane area that could get together for some weekend trail runs?

Hi David,

I live in North Brisbane and usually hit trails at the weekend on my own. I would be very interested in running with a partner (more interesting and safer). I usually go to Mt Coot-tha and Glasshouse Mts but I would love to find other places too.

Best regards,

Chris

Hi Guys
I'm up on the Sunshine Coast, and tend to run around here, but would be keen to head out into the Glasshouse Mountains for a bit of training.  I'm doing the Glasshouse run in Sept too, so it would be good to get some familiarity with the terrain.

Be good for a bit of different company, as I irritate myself with tuneless singing and bad jokes when I've been out for more than 3 hours.

Cheers
Andy

Hi David

A great way to get involved in the trail community is to become part of TRAQs (Trail Running Assc of QLD). They organise runs throughout the year and is a great way to meet up with trail runners of all abilities, age and gender. Check out their website www.runtrails.org if you get a chance.

Cheers

Hi Guys,

Sort of off topic but i wasn't sure where else to start...

I'm a Sunshine Coast lad by birth (live in NSW now) and i'm heading back up that way around july - I'm keen on hitting up the Kokoda Challenge this year but am struggling to find a team - http://www.kokodachallenge.com/kokoda-challenge - in case you haven't heard of it.

If you're keen or know of anyone that is...

Cheers!
