Without being rude, I'd like to point out that there are a lot of questions to the organisers on this forum that have remained unanswered for several weeks. The race is less than 5 weeks away and it's only fair that we be given all the information we need to prepare adequately for the race. Surely this is in the race organisers' interests also. Good feedback from the entrants can only help. As there are no contact details on the website, it appears this is the only way to communicate with the organisers.

Thankyou. I'm looking forward to your answers.

I agree I am waiting on an answer to a simple question about gear.

I am particularly concerned that, after entering and training for the event, there have been changes to the conditions without clear reason. The change which has the most concern for me is that there is to be no contact with support crews until 54k. Previously this had been 33k which I thought was far enough. On previous events of this kind I find it great to have the support of people who understand my, needs and it saves time and energy not to have to explain to others what is required. There is also no sign that the unsupported checkpoints allow for gear to be taken in there. This may mean we are the mercy of some well meaning but totally in appropriate help. Are we expected to cart extra clothing and shoe wear? What may work for some may be unsatisfactory for more people. Even if we end up being allowed to get our own gear into the first 3 checkpoints, who has enough money to support separate gear just in case you may need it? Surely letting the crews have adequate access will reduce the work on the organisers and offer a much safer race for the runners?

Sorry about the delay in getting information out to you all.  This website is being maintained by a third party on behalf of The North Face.  As the organisers (AROC Sport) we have no control over the website updates.  See the separate post as to course changes and support crew access.
cheers

Totally agree Dale i've posted similar concerns on the "aid stations" thread. Seems we just need to suck it up?
